I'm not sure which sweater you're talking about, but if it's the pink one, you could just add more reverse stockinette on the sides and take it up to a 42. That would just require an inch more of stitches on each end on both front and back to make the size 38 a size 42.<BR/><BR/>If it's the brown and turquoise one you mean, you could do more repeats of the pattern, since it is worked side to side. You can add another 4 inches of width just by continuing for 4 inches more woth of rows than the pattern says. Then you'd pick up the appropriate stitches along the edge to go up and make the bodice.<BR/><BR/>Hope that helps!
