Here are a couple of pictures of the bolero jacket I made for my sister-in-law for Christmas. The pattern is from Vogue Knitting Winter 2005. I think it turned out great, and she tells me she gets lots of compliments and questions about it.
I adore your cabled sweaterthat you gave your SIL and the ribbons look great. I finally finished mine, gave it to our mentor to finish, and am anxious to see the results. You were right. It was super quick. I used the Blue Sky alpaca and I think it was bulkier than yours. I can't believe your incredible knitting. You are an amazing inspiration.

This was made with Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick, less than half the cost of the Alpaca that was called for, and just as nice.
